Remembrance Day

The annual Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held on Sunday 8th November, 2009 at 10:45am at the Cenotaph, Elmslie Memorial Church. Guests and spectators are asked to be in place by 10:30am. This year the ceremony and parade will take place on Harbour Drive and limited public seating will be available.

As in the past, Elmslie Memorial Church has extended an invitation to the general public to attend their morning service prior to the Ceremony.

Poppies, the symbolic flower of those who sacrificed their lives in war, are available at the main reception desk Government Administration Building or from any member of the Veterans Association. Donations are discretionary and will be accepted on behalf of the Veterans Association.
